The WorkBC Wage Subsidy program covers a part of employee wages. Subsidy rates range (50% for the first 8 weeks, 25% for the second 8 weeks, and 15% for final 8 weeks - these rates increase for "priority clients" who include youths, individuals with disabilities). Employers may apply with an employee already in mind, or WorkBC can help match you with a suitable candidate.

Read the Application Guide to learn more about eligibility and the application process or contact your local WorkBC centre for more information.
